Susan Chambers McGregor 1943 -1999 In Memoriam
	Susan Chambers McGregor supported Arts Genesis financially, spiritually and emotionally from its inception. She was an AGI founder, a Life Member of its Board of Directors, its strongest financial supporter, and a skilled Artist/Educator in its programs. All was done with the finesse, sparkle, wit, wisdom, and generosity that were Susie’s trademark.
These slides show Susie working with fifth and sixth grade students at Richey Elementary School to produce silk screens that the children used to make banners, wall hangings, placemats, and countless T-shirts. With her usual generosity and skill Susie continued to print the screens for us so AGI members could have carrying bags with the children’s delightful desert images.
	We have all lost a very good friend, an outstanding artist, and a generous philanthropist. While her impact on AGI was well beyond her financial support, it is the financial support that we can replace. We must do so if we are to continue to provide the highest quality programming in the future. Donations in Susie’s memory extend well beyond their monetary value. They will go into the Susan Chambers McGregor and Freda Macadam Chambers Memorial Fund.
