Arts Genesis Testimonial

When teaching art, facilitating a neighborhood mural, or doing work in my studio there is a critical thinking and questioning process occurring. The decisions I make in drawing, about color, form, and light, all have metaphorical meanings, and these meaning change depending on the context in which they are uttered.

Teaching and making art is not only my profession; it is my passion. As a cultural worker for Arts Genesis I have a challenging task: I must somehow transmit the intrinsic value of the arts, and culture, while simultaneously building healthy intra and interpersonal skills and passing on technical skills.
